24 July 2008 -:- The Joseph Smith Papers Project. A short introduction to the ongoing Joseph Smith Papers Project. The first volume of this important project will be published later this year.

30 June 2008 -:- Misguided Zeal and Defense of the Church. Many people have asked FAIR to examine and evaluate a new Book of Mormon evidences DVD, DNA Evidence for Book of Mormon Geography. This is a full-length overview of the DVD, with more detailed information to come later. (A PDF version of the full overview is also available.)

31 May 2008 -:- Horses in the Book of Mormon. Based on a talk and PowerPoint presentation given to the Book of Mormon Lands Conference, Mike Ash examines different theories concerning horses in the Book of Mormon.

30 April 2008 -:- Will the Real Martin Luther Please Stand Up. John Tvedtness examines several beliefs and teachings of Martin Luther that seem to be more compatible with LDS beliefs than traditional Protestant theology or doctrine.

29 February 2008 -:- Debating the Foundations of Mormonism: The Book of Mormon and Archaeology. In their 2005 FAIR Conference presentation, John E. Clark, Wade Ardern, and Matthew Roper examine how the Book of Mormon is faring in light of new discoveries.

29 February 2008 -:- Apologetics 101. Wayne Arnett reviews the hows and whys of apologetics in his 2006 FAIR Conference presentation.

29 February 2008 -:- Book of Abraham 201: Papyri, Revelation, and Modern Egyptology. This 2006 FAIR Conference presentation by Mike Ash delves into a range of criticisms against the Book of Abraham.

29 February 2008 -:- A Black Man in Zion: Reflections on Race in the Restored Gospel. In this 2006 FAIR Conference presentation, Marcus H. Martins discusses the problems and progress of blacks in the Church.

29 February 2008 -:- As Far as it is Translated Correctly: The Problem of Tampering with the Word of God in the Transmission and Translation of the New Testament. In his 2007 FAIR Conference presentation, John F. Hall discusses the transmission and exegesis of the New Testament.

Our mission is to address the charges leveled at the doctrines, practices and leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) with documented responses that are written in an easily understandable style.

FAIR will use current scholarship, scripture, Church doctrine, historical literature and sound logic in constructing faithful, well-reasoned answers.
